VitrA Therm provides warmer ambients with lesser fuel oil costs thanks to the thermal insulation up to 60% it provides in our country where winter seasons are being experienced harder and harder  in the course of time.

Eczacıbaşı-Koramic Building Chemicals has added a new product to its extensive portfolio of products which are produced at its factory equipped with the most advanced technologies of Europe: VitrA Therm; External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems.

With the savings in fuel oil costs derived from use of the product which is a rather efficient system, it ensures return of the investment totally within 2 to 5 years, and extends service life of your building. The system offers a cleaner, healtier, and more comfortable environment since it prevents formation of molds, and reduces gas emission.

Having adopted quality as its primary ojective at the construction sector, EKY continues to lead the sector with the system which has been launched in two alternatives as VitrA Therm NORM and VitrA Therm ARKİTEKT as a result of R&D activities of one and half year. VitrA Therm extends system options with the alternatives of lampdopor and rockwool in addition to XPS and EPS boards which are commonly used at external thermal insulation composite systems. VitrA Therm Arkitekt offers an alternative of complete protection since its also provides sound insulation in addition to the thermal insulation, and creates a safe ambient as it is not flammable.

Cooperation has been established with Jotun, a global brand in final layer coats, for VitrA Therm having components for which the highest quality brands have been used. VitrA Therm provides rather showy and smart decorative appearances with 225 different color alternatives through use of acyrlic paints of Jotun on textured plasters, or use of textured paints of Jotun directly as the final layer.

Vitra Therm Thermal Insulation Composite Systems produced through the system partnership of Eczacıbaşı-Koramic Building Chemicals and Jotun has been awarded “The Thermal Insulation Product of the Year” at the contest arranged by a periodical on insulation materials, ‘Yalıtım’

Having been launched in 2005 as a result of R&D activities of one and half a year, and received high interest and demand of the sector from the very beginning of its launch, Vitra Therm has come first at a contest arranged by the group of Doğa Publishing. Vitra Therm has been awarded this title as a result of an election process conducted by a jury panel of sector professionals as well as a questionnaire conducted over Internet.

At the Ceremony of Achievement Prizes in the Insulation Sector arranged at Hisarüstü Facilities of Yıldız Technical University on the evening of April 21, the prize has been received by Mr. Hüseyin Bilmaç, the general manager of Eczacıbaşı Koramic Building Chemicals, from Dr. Murat Akdoğan, chairman of İMSAD. Mr. Hüseyin Bilmaç invited Mr. Şükrü Ergün, the delegating member of Jotun Boya, to the stage, and stressed that the project is the result of a teamwork.

High interest has been shown in the press meeting and cocktail arranged in the first day of the fair for Vitra Therm, i.e. the product having attracted the highest interest at EKY stand established at the International Turkey Build Istanbul 2006 Fair between May 3 to 7. Speeches delivered by Mr. Hüseyin Bilmaç, the general manager of EKY, and Mr. Şükrü Ergün, the delegating member of Jotun Boya, stressed necessity of thermal insulation in Turkey, and underlines the advantages offered by Vitra Therm in this area.

Vitra Therm whose system components are produced using first class brands is distinguished though a cooperation between Vitra and Jotun, i.e. two companies which are the symbols of quality in their respective sectors.

Vitra Therm also comes to the fore by offering a rather versatile alternatives of thermal insulation with many choices under the fundamental classification of Norm and Arkitekt. Offering a savings of up to 60% for heating expenses, the system pays off its costs within a period of  2 to 5 years, and thus offers a rather attractive economic opportunity.

Within scope of the project implemented under leadership of Mr. Ali Yalçınkaya, an architect M. Sc. from the marketing team of EKY, the process commences with calculation of the thermal insulation required for each building, and choosing of the most appropriate one of versatile system alternatives as per requests of the customer, and finalized with a diligent application conducted by the dealers which own professional teams.
